Dr. Buckner was a Methodist minister from 1972-1986, having completed
a Master of Divinity from Duke University in 1979.  He then completed a Ph. D.
in Educational Psychology and worked as a psychologist until 2002, when he
retired and began to research the spiritual teachings of the historical Jesus. 

Dr. Buckner resides in east Tennessee with his psychologist wife and their daughter. 

His interests include spiritual enlightenment, Past Life Recall and study of the historical Jesus.
